The MMPA hosts the 6th Annual Pre-Emmy Party on Sunday, August 24, 2014 6:00PM-10:00P: at the new trendy vintage ACE Hotel located at 929 S. Broadway, Downtown Los Angeles, recently opened to the public and where all the action will be this evening. We will pay recognition to several directors, playwrights, executives, actors and actresses during the course of the evening in their various fields. Each year, the organization has celebrated on the eve of the Emmy and it has always been the place to be the night before. Some of our past honorees include Lou Gossett, Jr. Bobbie Chance, Dwayne Johnson, Alfre Woodard, Paul Haggis, Sally Kirkland and many more.
Many of the MMPA Members who have a global presence will be in attendance along with various executives. directors, producers and actors that are based in the US. The evening will consist of mixing and mingling, award presentations, lavish dessert table. Light hors d'oeuvres and dancing.
A part of the proceeds will benefit Student Filmmakers in furthering their education and their craft.
