Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Cole fire a 21-gun salute Oct. 11, 2014, during a memorial ceremony to honor victims of the Oct. 12, 2000, terrorist attack. The destroyer is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to support U.S. national security interests in Europe.
