Readout of Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel's Meeting with Israeli Minister of Defense Ya'alon

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel met with the Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon today at the Pentagon. Secretary Hagel reaffirmed the United States' deep commitment to the security of Israel, and the importance of the U.S.-Israel defense relationship. Secretary Hagel and Minister Ya'alon discussed the coalition efforts to counter ISIL, Iran, and other regional issues. They agreed to continue to work together to maintain the strength of the U.S.-Israel security relationship.
