The guided-missile destroyer USS Arleigh Burke launches aTomahawk cruise missile in the Red Sea, Sept. 23, 2014, to conduct strikes against targets in the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL. The destroyer is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
