General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Air Force Brig. Gen. Derek P. Rydholm has been nominated to the rank of major general. Rydholm is currently serving as director, plans, programs and requirements, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
